 Click Image Slowly the population of Nashua decreased with fewer and fewer humans residing within its boundaries and canines becoming the dominant species. The five packs, Kari, Ashai, Harku, Shou, and Fang all take on a different part of the city to chase out the humans for good. And once the city is left abandoned canines are proud to claim themselves the dominant species. As time goes on more and more canines enter the city after hearing that it had become free for any to join. Some joined a pack, others remained loners. Either way territories were claimed for different packs. Peace remained between all the packs and even with those who chose to survive on their own. At least, for a while it was peaceful.
A small group of canines entered the city after hearing it had become free in hopes of escaping the harsh treatment of humans that had they had received in other cities. But with them they brought in an awful disease unknown to any other creature of the city. It remained dormant, lurking inside of them waiting to strike when the time was right. It was passed on to others who already lived on the streets without anyone realizing what was occurring. But a few weeks after these infected canines entered the city, the symptoms of the disease started to show.
At first they were subtle that most assumed were just a cold. A runny nose, sore throat, maybe even some coughing or headaches. But then they got worse. Soon the infected soul became mentally insane seeing things that did not exist or becoming so weak they could not move. Each case affected their victim differently which made the disease so hard to track down. And in many cases this disease killed its victim. The Kari pack received the worst of it since they allowed almost anyone to join without any questions being asked. And they assumed it was their arch rival, the Fang pack, which had brought the infected disease into their pack in order to wipe them out.
When this theory was brought up to Fang by other packs they denied the cause saying they too had sick members in their own pack. But when no other pack believed them, a war was sparked against Kari and Fang. Each pack attempted to sway other packs to join their side of the argument. And with so many canines infected it was difficult to fight the battles. Soon the blame was not just shared between Kari and Fang, but thrown onto the other packs as well. Then once a full out battle was involved with all five packs they ganged together to blame the loners for the infection. The city boundaries were closed down so no one could enter or leave the city until the war and the disease problem were solved. Will this conflict end, or will the mysterious disease end up killing the city ruled by canines? What will the other packs and loners do to stop the war and open up the city walls again? But most importantly, what are you going to do to control the chaos?
