Round, yet on the small side, Jude's eyes don't draw much attention right away. Soon you'll notice that the light brown color most claim them to be at first glance is actually a dark hazel. The color is made up of a swirl of brown and green, making for unique shades and such. As eyes should reflect on the owner's emotions, Jude's are usually very light and warm with an energetic gleam. Even when he is is 'teaching mode', his eyes are bright and warm, encouraging his students and even flashing good-naturally as he likes to share jokes while teaching. You have to work very hard to upset or anger Jude, but if you manage to do so, his eyes are the first sign. Its rare to see his eyes harden to an icecap but don't be proud of yourself if you succed.° h a i r //
Jude got his mother's hair texture but his father's color. His hair is a warm shade of chocolate brown, going with his eyes very nicely. He enjoys his hair color very much - who said blondes had more fun because it seems Jude has plenty of excitment! Some may say that brown is a boring color, not unique, but Jude will claim that there are different shades of brown. He believes no one will have the exact hue of brown and that there are various shades within a single person's hair. He takes after his mother in terms of the thickness, a solid ground between thin / fine hair and thick hair. The top is straight, but slight waves start to form as you near the bottom ends. Being someone who is always in motion, and quite honestly doesn't care what he looks like, it isn't unusal to see Jude with a sort of bed-head or wind-blown appearance. Still, he makes it work somehow.° f r a m e //
Jude is on the tall and thin side. As noted in his history, he was a rather large baby but thankfully his 'childish face' and 'baby-fat' as long since gone. He was slightly taller than friends and classmates during the school years, but never by much (he wouldn't fit in with basketball players). As for his weight, Jude could probably gain a few pounds and still be in normal grounds for his height. For his size, Jude's poundage is a little small, but a bit of muscle reduces the overly skinny appearance. His shoulders are broad, and he has noteable strength in his arms and legs, but its nothing big. He is just thankful that he doesn't have twig limbs. Jude has a nice skin tone, not sickly pale but not life-guard tan, a nice middle ground in result to the hours he spends outside. After saying this, he does have a bit of a farmer's tan, but only slightly.° s t y l e //
No, Jude isn't one of those fasion obssesed boys, but he does wear clothes (duh) and cares somewhat about what he throws on his back. He doesn't shop as the nicest and most popular stores, he doesn't see the reason when he can get pretty much the same clothes at an outlet mall for a much better price. His usual attire is jeans (even though he loves dressage, he honestly doesn't like the breeches or jodphurs required for dressage preformances) and a plain shirt, varying between short-sleeved and long depending on the weather. He loves tennis shoes and will sometimes wear them out to the barn rather than his boots. Jude doesn't have much patience, or want, to do much with his hair after showering. As mentioned, it isn't unusal for him to have messy hair and it is rare for it to actually be combed or laying flat.
personality:
° k i n d //
Jude is a very kind person who isn't much of a yeller. He likes being around people, always has, and knows how to get along with most anyone. Thats partially why he became an instructor. He is nice to people he mets, rarely will he give you a glare or mean word, even when they don't return the same favor. During lessons he doesn't like to yell at his students (what kind of student who likes a yelling instructor?) and instead calmly points out what they are doing incorrectly and asks them to try it differently. Jude is also able to find praise for each of his students, something that they have done well in the lesson. Its sort of his way to encourage them onward, even if they are having a tough time. Jude is also very honest. He doesn't like to lie and sees no point in it; lies just get you in bigger trouble really. Though, Jude won't be blunt about whats on his mind. He'll say the truth, but will cusion it a bit so it doesn't sound harsh.° h y p e r //
Jude isn't in exact words 'hyper', but is energetic. He loves coffee, and other beverages that have caffinee, so its natural that he does have a lot of energy (though he would probably be the same without all these drinks). He is one of those teachers, part of it being he is just out of college, who likes to have sort of a friend relationship with his students, if that makes sense. He'll joke with them, both in and out of the ring, and believes its important his student's trust him. When teaching he is a little more serious, but that fun-loving trait about him is still noticable.

Now how do a construction worker and a horse trainer meet? When the construction worker comes to work on a horse stable where said horse trainer is working. This is how Scott Hemmingway and Emily Rosewood met. Both just out of collage, both working as 'students in training', and both ending up at Cheny Falls Stable. It started out as small talk, Emily stopping to chat in between bringing horses in and out of the barns and preforming various chores. Though before they knew it, the conversations were getting longer until they were swapping contact details and finally setting up a first date. Their first date was at a local Italian resturant, and though every thing went wrong (car running out of gas to food being dropped on clothes) they both ended up laughing and deciding to go out again. Eight months later they married and they waited two years before having a baby, a little boy named Jude.° t o d d l e r y e a r s //
Jude was a rather large baby, and of course everyone fussed over his 'baby-fat'. His hair was thick, even early on, like his mother but was dark like his fathers own locks. He was an energetic toddler, constantly on the move and had to be watched. He was good about not putting things in his mouth but stairwells and other drops seemed to call him as he was constantly drawn toward them. Jude was quiet, thankfully, and didn't scream or cry as much as expected. Even though Jude was over-all a good kid and easy to handle as long as you kept him in view, Emily and Scott decided that they didn't have enough time to have another baby.° t e e n a g e r //
As expected, being the son of a horse trainer, Jude often tagged along with his mother to watch her work with students and horses. Horse riding is in his blood so it was no suprise that he asked to take up riding as well; his mother was delighted of course. He started at the age of six on a little gray welsh pony named Smarties. By the time he reached his preteen years he moved on to a larger pony, a bay New Forest mare named Bambi who was six at the time. (Bambi is actually still a lesson horse at Cheny Falls Stables, both where Jude worked later on and where Nashi and her friends took lessons.) Emily was the jumping couch and taught Jude herself though he did take dressage from another instructor at the stables. He stayed with Bambi for about four to five years before moving on to another horse, a chestnut Thoroughbred named The Looking Glass (or Mindy was her barn name.) They competed in local, and some not so local, circuts and did pretty well. However, Mindy was in an accident which involved a truck back-firing and the beautiful mare spooking and resulted in an unfixable injured leg. Just as Jude was starting his junior year in high school, Emily insisted that he got a new horse (even if just for a while) instead of using a lesson horse. So this is how he got Hardy-Har-Har, or Hardy, a handsome and talented five-year old warmblood gelding. They made huge strides in their training together, gaining many wins in the show ring.° c o l l a g e //
Jude graduated from high school and now had to make a decision on collage. He had applied to a university close by, within driving distance, and decided to at least attend the basic courses for the four years. He competed less during this time, but still came over to the stables everyday to word Hardy and even started to help with the dressage classes. After finishing his second year of collage Jude accepted an offer to loan his horse out to a young teenager named Caleb who was and experienced rider for his age. The two got along great and after a year or so of leasing Hardy out Jude sold the warmblood gelding to Caleb, planning to train another horse after getting out of collage. When he finally graduated from the university, Jude began teaching more and more at Cheny Falls, even getting his own dressage class. During the summer after his senior year at the university, Jude came across a three-year old Appaloosa mare named Eight Days a Week (a Beatles song just like his own name). Though she was no Warmblood or Thoroughbred, or any horse you would expect to see in the dressage ring, Jude connected with the leapord spotted horse and purchased her. He nicknamed her Melody, or Mel, since her show name was a song title and found she had a talent in both jumping and dressage. Though they have competed in a few shows, claiming a blue ribbon here and there, they haven't entered anything big - yet. It is also in these past three years that he bought his first dog, a Samyoed puppy named Sweet Pea. Harley followed, then Koda before Sweet Pea had her own puppy (SURPRISE to Jude), a little girl he named Kiki.
