Like most of his family, Caden has a brown eye color, which is sort his family's trademark. They aren't the dark, deep chocolate color that you would assume, but instead a lighter, smoother color. If you don't take the time to study them a bit, you might mistake the shade to be a dark hazel color. But they aren't. No, they are more solid than the mixtures of green and brown. Some would cal his eyes dark butterscotch, but Caden would rather describe the color as coffee with cream added to create a soft, light color. Odd, isn't it? His parent's and siblings, even his twin's, eyes are much easier to explain as they are the simple, plain brown that is quite common.

Being a skinny person, its natural that Caden also has a thin face, all trace of a child's baby fat long gone. He has somewhat of a large forehead, which is usually covered by his jet black hair and out of sight. He has a narrow and small nose, and, much to his annoyance, the arguement of whether his nose is crooked or not often comes up with his siblings, even though Caden couldn't care less. His jawbone and chin are rather sharp looking, evidence that he is, at this point, more man than child. Colored a pinkish skin tone, Caden's lips are somewhat plump and strongly disliked by him. His teeth are an inbetween, they aren't a nasty yellow color but neither are they over-the-top white, instead a whitesh color that looks nice. Despite having braces as a child (who doesn't now-a-days?), Caden's teeth have a slightly crooked, imperfect look to them as result in "losing" his retainer. Finally, his skin is a very pale, white color that sould look sickly gross, but isn't and instead has a striking contrast with his jet black hair.

Like his sister, and most of his family, Caden was born with a light brown hair color which turned even lighter in the summer due to the sun. Then came the teenage years and Caden wanted to be different and was a bit rebellious. He began dying his hair, settling on a dark color, a inky black. The first time he did it behind his parent's back, and though they were startled and unhappy at first, they opted to allow him to continue dying it instead of having an unpleasant fight; it was only hair after all. Caden has naturally straight hair, though he does use shampo that gets rid of any frizz; he hates frizzy or dirty hair. He likes to keep his hair a bit longer, past his ears and about jaw-length. He also combs his hair before going out, trying to keep it neat rather than walking around with a bed-head look.

Caden is very slender and has an average height, though his sister sometimes says he's a bit on the short side. He has always been a picky eater, and it shows. He has sort of a bony appearance, which is somewhat odd for a boy and he is the target of his sister's teasing at times because of it. Caden also has little, if any, muscle tone and his limbs kind of resemble a twig because of it. As I mentioned before, Caden is very pale and doesn't tan. He's not a big fan of tans anyway, because then you get tanlines and all that stuff.

Caden is usually sort of quiet, not in the shy way, but he can talk a lot. Of course, he talks more with people he knows well, but thats only natural, right? Like his cousin Samantha, he has his hyper moments like everyone else, and although his aren't as common as with Sam, they are a bit more frequent than a normal person. He isn't a loud mouth, but is again, like Sam, very energetic. He likes to gallop when on horse-back and likes it when a horse is a bit of a challenge rather than a push-button pony. When he lived in Colorado he often went to parties, where there was a bit of drinking, and he was pretty hyper at those as well.

Caden is a very kind person if you deserve his kindness. He hates it one people are judgmental so he has an open mind when meeting new people and expects the same from everyone else. Despite being so nice, he finds it difficult to make friends. But once you are friends with him, your friends for life. Caden is a very loyal person and isn't afraid to defend a friend who is being made fun of or something. In fact, he isn't afraid to leap into arguements and fights at all, especially if he thinks the other person deserves it. Another thing Cade hates is people who are fake, meaning they pretend to be nice to you then spread nasty rumors about you behind your back. I mean honestly, how low is that? Whats the point of pretending to be nice when you in truth hate that person?

Caden Walsh was born in Colorado, where his father lived all his life. Renee and Justin had been dating quite a while before deciding to get married. There wedding was held while Justin's sister, Bella, was pregnant after her recent marriage. Renee and Justin held off having kids, especially after Bella had twins. Though the finally decided to go ahead and just as it happens, they have their own set of twins just a few short months before Bella's next child is born. They were grateful for having a boy and girl rather than twins of the same gender (so they didn't have to go through that difficult 'which twin is which' time). Their next child came two years later, a boy they named Nate.

Caden and Lena weren't the stick-together type of twins. Lena was interested in clothes and such right off the bat and Caden found himself spending most of his time with his cousin Samantha. She was more tom-boyish and enjoyed riding bikes or playing basketball with him. They were more alike than any of their siblings, both different, hyper and sort of a dare-devil. So of course Caden was crushed when Samantha moved to Flordia, so far away from Colorado. He felt even more different, especially when he started to ride horses. Since they lived in Colorado, most people rode western but Caden was lucky enough to find a stable near-by that also had english. As much as he loved western, jumping also sounded fun.

While his sister was on the cheerleading squad and a couple other clubs, Caden spent his time riding horses or going to parties with his friends, the few he had (he found making friends a bit difficult). He was doing pretty well in school, no perfect grades but he wasn't flunking. Then the family heard that Bella and Austin were sending their kids to boarding school, Lena begged to go to the same one as Rebecca and Rachel (the three had gotten along well). They agreed and decided that Caden should go to a boarding school as well. He was very hesitant about this fact untill he heard that Sam would be attending Maple Ridge, a riding academy in Virginia. His parent's agreed, mainy since he would have family there with him.
