&eyes&
Sam has very bright eyes which most people put together with her enthusastic outlook on life. She is very, proud I guess, about her eyes as people often tell her how wonderful they look with her natural hair color. Her eyes grab the attention of most people as they are very bold and bright, as stated above. They take the apparance of a lilly-pad on a white pond; her eyes are a magnificent green color which are known for displaying her current emotions. Sam is a very energetic, fun-loving person and her eyes relfect this quality by being a very light and warm color, the depths seeming to light up with her excitment. Though, after you know her for a while you soon learn that her eyes can be holders of other emotions. When angry or frustrated her eyes turn hard and seem to freeze and darken to a hazel-like color. When tragity strikes, Sam's eyes get soft but lose their glow and seem watered down, dull. There are also times, when she gets serious or feels very strongly about something, that her eyes sharpen, not in the hard way as when she gets angry, but her lively green eyes get strangly intense.
&face&
Sam is quite pretty, though not inhumainly beautiful or even close. She was always a small girl on the thin side, and her face reflects this. Her face is narrow, though without the starving guantness which is actually quite disgusting. Her cheekbones are high, but somewhat rounded which makes her face to appear not as thin as it is. Her lips are a light pink/ skin tone color and seem to be slightly off; her small nose appears to be a little crooked as well. Her smile is very nice, with white teeth that aren't quite straight (a result of braces in her younger years and a rebellious act of not wearing her retainer for a while). It isn't in perfect in any sense, but her smile still glows and shares her energetic feelings. Who needs perfect anyway? Its too... creepy. A usless fact; Sam once, on an impulsive act in result to a dare, got her nose pierced, but never really liked it. Anyways, once her mother found out she ordered her to get rid of it, without much fuss from Sam herself. An effect of sorts, due to her natural hair color I suppose, Sam has never been able to get much of a tan: her skin is pretty pale with a small tan, and sometimes a slight flush, but it usually just burns when she is out in the sun which leaves behind a light tan, which usually fades again. But, on the plus side, she rarely gets freckles to her delight.
&hair&
Sam's hair is naturally a pretty aburn color, seeming to be a mixture of dark red and brown. But instead of staying with this color, which was often admired by her parents friends, she dyes it a mixture of various shades of orange and red with blond highlights. She likes how the colors stand out, and it makes her feel unique, which to her is an important quality. Why be boring and similar to everyone else when you can be yourself. Born with naturally finer hair, Sam often feels as though her hair is too flat or thin, so she gets it styled in layers and uses a special shampoo (which smells like apples, yum) to add volume to her straight tresses. She also has long bangs parted to the side that go to about her cheek and aren't long enough to be pulled back in a pony-tail. Sam likes to keep her hair at a medium lenght, just to her shoulders, so its long enough to pull back but not long enough to be in her way.
&body build&
Sam has always been slight with an almost delicate appearance. She has a naturally small build and is slightly shorter than average height. She is what people would call tiny. Her stomach is flat and her hip bones stick out a bit sharply. Her arms and legs are bony with small knees and wrists, giving the illusion that she could break at any moment. To her annoyance, Sam's feet are small though she can't explain why it bothers her. Her hands are also quite small with straight fingers. However, most people expect someone who seems delicate to be pale, it just fits, and when you mention that her natural hair color is a reddish aburn color, that just adds to the guesswork. But in fact, against all odds, Sam actually does have a nice, light layer of tan going for her. Of course its somewhat of a farmer's tan, but since she likes to swim, her tan lines are thankfully very faint.
personality:
At first glance some people think she looks like a loud-mouth. This is somewhat true in the sense that Sam is a very hyper person at times. She isn't crazy, she is just one of those people who enjoy a good time. And a good time, according to her, includes having spazz attacks every once in a while. Ok, so she won't just all of a sudden start jumping up and down with limbs flailing all over the place. The best word to describe Sam would be energetic; she does like to be in motion and has a "need for speed", especially when on horseback. Sam does talk a lot and makes jokes, and she can be quick to start an arguement and slow to end it at times. Its not that she enjoys fighting but that she has strong opinions and isn't afraid to share them.
Though hyper and random, Sam is overall very sweet. When first meeting someone she can be pretty laid back about the other's personality. Sam doesn't like making judgment calls so she'll wait a while before labeling someone her rival, though she does make friends very easily. Once you have made friends with her, you're pretty much friends for life. Sam is a very loyal friend and won't let little fights upset the friendship in the long run. She is very compassionate about things that are close to her (ie. friends, animals, family etc.) and doesn't just sit by if someone insults them. Talk about loyal, if someone talks about you behind your back you can count on Sam to say a word or two back.
Under that spazzy coating is an intelligant girl. She actually does very well in school, her best subjects being science and math though her favorite is defiantly english. Sam is a quick learner and has done well in school in the past; she is used to getting straight As with a few Bs. Though homework is not a favorite of hers (who does like homework) and she doesn't always finish it, Sam does really well on tests and exams. The class she does have a bit of trouble with is French, but who doesn't?
history:
Samantha Waver is the third child of Isabella and Austin Waver. The two met in Colorado, where they both attended school from kindergarten all the way to senior year. They were both friends growing up but it wasn't until junior year that they started dating, on the request of their friends of course. Both seriously doubted they would become a couple; they've been friends for years, why change that status? Anyway, by springbreak of junior year they were going out and had a steady boyfriend/ girlfriend relationship. They remained a couple throughout senior year and the four years of college they went through, both attending a university near by. A couple months after their big graduation, Bella and Austin got married.
The two were keen on starting a family and is wasn't long before Bella was pregnant. The next nine months were surprisingly happy for her, though she did have to look quite silly in a dress at her brother's wedding. Bella gave birth the week she was due, right on cue, to two beautiful girls, twins. It was a bit overwelming having twins first and so soon in their marriage, but Austin's mother and Bella's parent's were faithful and helped as much as they could. Rachel and Rebecca were mini verisons of their father, beautiful blond hair with a slight wave and red tinge to it and startling azure eyes. The two were very similar in appearance, which could be hard on the family at times.
It was Justin, Bella's brother, and Renee who produced the next children, once again a set of twins, about a year later. Lena and Jason were born just a few months before Samantha. Sam resembled her mother more than her father with her petite build, aburn hair and green eyes. The family lived in Colorado for a few years, turning down the idea of having any more children (three girls was enough). When Sam was ten they moved to Flordia, across the world as it seemed to Sam. Her sisters, more girly and fasion interested than she, were excited about the idea of having beaches near-by. Flordia was the best place, in their minds, for sun-tanning.
Though she loved her family, and was loved in return, Sam was sort of the oddball. It started, but didn't end, with her outgoing, hyper personality to the startling colors she dyed her hair to her love of horses. Yep, she was the only horse lover in her family. She was overjoyed when they moved into a small neighborhood down the street from a small horse-breeding operation. Though it didn't offer riding lessons, it caught her attention. Whats more, it just so happens that the owners have a son in her class. Sam and Elliott quickly became friends, along with Tiffany Appleton, who was also in her grade, and her younger sister, Whitney Appleton.
After a few years in their new home, Rachel and Rebecca begged to go to boarding school, and their wishes were granted. They went to a school in southern Georgia and Sam missed them greatly. She took to going to visit Elliott's farm, often borrowing a horse to ride with him and the Appleton sisters, who kept their horses at the Kennedy farm. The Kennedys bred Appaloosas, so the horses there were often very colorful with flecks and spots painting their body. In fact, Elliott's horse, Apache, was sometimes used a stud and Whitney's mare, Dakota, was used as a broodmare twice before being sold. (her last foal was Splash of Color).
Sam began to visit a favorite of hers, a young solid colored filly named Paint the Wind. Windy was out of Apache and seemed to have a temperment very similar to Sam; she was a sweet horse who was very energetic and fast and who even had spazz attacks She began requesting to ride Windy and before long presuaded her parents to buy the mare for her. It was shortly after this that her parent's decided that she should go to a boarding school like her sisters, and they even agreed to let her go all the way to Virginia with her four friends to a riding academy called Maple Ridge.
