With a best friend with Jane Duvall, a girl who stands at the height her mother a model gave her, being anything other than tall would look slightly out of place when the two are side by side constantly. The children of the Pierce couple, or the former couple, have towering heights, which is odd considering that both parents are actually average and below height. So, while not as tall as Jane or towering as her brother Kyle, Paige is slightly taller than average for her age, though thankfully not by much. Forgive me my comparison between Jane and Paige, but again like her best friend, Paige is a very slender girl. However, her body is more angular than her friend's, or her family for that matter. She has a sharp point of a hip and bony elbows and knees connected to skinny limbs. Paige has always been naturally very thin, her stomach flat and firm, and if it weren't for the horse riding to tone her arms and legs with a layer of muscle, Paige would resemble a poll or stick much more.
Despite her body's somewhat of a jig-saw puzzle sharpness, Paige's face has often been described as her best feature, with a slightly rounded shape and skin that softens her jaw and cheek bones. Paige has a small forehead and small nose, but people tell her it ties in well with her face, making her features pretty rather than sticking out in a horrible fashion. Her eyebrows look almost delicate, gracefully set over a twin set of deep hazel eyes that are often a source of envy by her mother. Paige's parent's have also aways been proud of both their daughter's hair, which is very dark brown, almost black, in color and has always been kept long to show off the stylish waves that move through their strands. Mary Jane constantly gave them hair tips, helping to find the right shampoo for the perfect volume and softness, buying irons for strightening even though she much prefered the waves.
While Michelle still has these pretty locks, Paige chopped her hair off as a rebellious protest against her parent's arguments and talks of divorce. Her mother was of course shocked and angry when she saw her daughter's new hair style, which barely reached her ears, but the dark strands of grown a bit, creeping a bit down her neck and Paige finds that she prefers this length rather than the long hair. Its much easier to handle and Paige just loves how it looks to pull what she can into little pig-tails; so cute.
Like Heather Duvall, Paige's mother often comes to the conclusion that her daughters should love shopping. Both do, though while Michelle ran ahead with the idea, Paige would rather buy jeans and nice tops instead of dresses. She usually dresses herself in a nice shirt and some sort of jean shorts or pants, sometimes throwing in nicer pants or even a skirt, though nothing too dressy. She goes for comfort really instead of elegance. With the make-up, Paige takes care of her face with clensors and wash, so cover-up is only used in small portions and layers when her skin needs to be evened out. She doesn't like lip-stick/ gloss or blush, and will put masscara (hardly ever does she use liner) and sometimes a light skin tone shade of eye shadow on for a typical day.
personality:
In some ways, Paige is an opposite of Jane. Paige has a very warm attitude about meeting new people while Jane sort of hardens until she gets to know a person. Jane is very confident and isn't afraid to be rude, and her clipped tone can often be labled as such. While Paige is also confident, she has more of a calming affect. She finds herself smoothing things over, softing Jane's words or actions to make them seem less harsh. In a sense, she is sort of a peace-maker. She has always been very friendly and nice, one of the sweetest people you could know. She is by nature outgoing and actually likes meeting new people while others, including Jane, find it awkward and even annoying. It isn't rare to see her striding up to a new person at school or a complete stranger at a gathering and push her hand forward, a relaxed and warm smile on her face, introducing herself without hesitation.
But not everyone can be sweet all the time. Like any normal person, conflicts upset her and while she can usually keep a calm, or mostly calm, and collected look on her face, everyone has their exploding moments. People who see this side of Paige quickly learn that when upset her confidence doesn't waver and she can have a bit of a sharp tounge (which she quickly regrets after yelling). Though such situations are rare when she is surrounded by friends, class-mates, random people, or even her two siblings, however things at home get under her skin quite easily. It doesn't take much for her to start yelling or fighting at her house, especially now that her parents have been fighting a lot and their relationship has been changing, the word 'divorce' coming up much more often. Paige actually finds her being in her home stressful now and is more relaxed at Jane's, or another friend's, house or even on a pointless drive with her brother and sister to no-where. This is one of the major reasons for Paige's idea of escaping to Autumn Hills during the day.
history:
Paige was born to Robert and Mary-Jane Pierce, a still young and sucessful couple, becoming the little sister of one-year old Kyle. They grew up in a rather large house since both parents brought in a large income, so their children where often pleased with gift, somehow staying out of the bounds of creating snotty and spoiled children. A year after Paige was born came the final addition to the family, Halley, who seemed the spitting image of her older sister. MJ found it was easier having three kids in three years, how odd it may be, getting the toddler years done and over with quickly. She was also shocked to see that her kids got along much better than average siblings (there were hardly any fights) and was proud to say that they were all three close, though Paige and Kyle certainly got along very well. Their mother often claimed that Paige and Kyle were twins, seperated by one year, not because they looked alike but because they were so well intuned with each other.
Friends for life is certainly a phrase to say about Jane and Paige. The two met at the age of six when their moms put them together for a play-date, hoping their daughters would make friends. Their plan worked better than expected, though they would claim they knew this would happen, and the two young girls became best friends. The two did everything together, often pulling Kyle along since he and Paige were still quite close. They entered school side by side, putting up with all the hated clubs and activities their mother's forced them through, and standing together when they announce their dislike and wish to quit. And yes, as I mentioned with Jane, the two discovered horse riding together, with Kyle and Halley following close behind.
Paige trained in jumping and dressage, her favorite mount a large bay thoroughbred named High Steppin'. Considering this, its no surprise Paige picked a thoroughbred as her first horse after her parent's finally agreed. Kyle bought a sturdy looking grulla mare, a mustang that had lived in the wild as a foal. Halley got a blue roan gelding, a cute looking horse with a high jump and fast gallop, but they were never completely sure what he was. Paige got a young thoroughbred mare, a four year old at the time, and sweet as could be with her black coat and lopsided white face.
It was after this that all hell broke out in the Pierce home. All of the sudden there were cold stares being passed between Robert and Mary-Jane, quiet and forced polite dinners and those days where the couple didn't speak at all. The three siblings were confused and unhappy, hating the silence until they decided they prefered it that way. Robert and MJ started their fighting and yelling, slamming of the doors, which lasted well into the night. Paige's mom seemed to believe her husband was cheating on her and her voice became sharp and shrill, her face hard. The house suddenly became the hot spot, the 'war-zone', instead of the relaxed and warm comfort place it should have been. While all the children were upset, Paige took it a step further and became resentful toward her parents, always rushing forward into fights and yelling matches over the smallest of things, constantly breaking the rules (cutting her hair, etc.) just to rebell and protest. The Pierce kids stayed out later and stalled coming home from school, taking shelter at a friends house (mostly Jane's) until they had to go home. It was Paige who suggested they board their horses at Autumn Ridge, a place that was close-by so they could easily hang around there all day if they wanted.

Prudence is a tall horse, but her owner is pretty tall herself. Paige has no problem settling into her horse's long stride and the distance between the ground the Pru's back. Like any Thoroughbred, this mare is tall and lean, with a nice, intelligent looking head. Of course she has muscular hind-quarters and long, slender legs that take powerful strides. Naturally, Pru was built for speed and doesn't disapoint. Her pelt is beautiful, especially in Paige's eyes. She is colored a pure black, the darkest of shades, with a long mane and tail painted the same, their strands falling in silky smoothness. All four of her legs are white below the knee, the lengths different on each. White marking runs between dark brown eyes and over a pink skinned nose.
