remy thomson !!
After making arangements for Kennedy to follow her to the stables, Remy Thomson slid into her red jeep. She turned the keys and the engine came to life and the blonde girl pulled out of the tack shop's parking lot, blue-green eyes flickering to the rearview mirror to make sure she wasn't leaving Kennedy behind. The drive to Autumn Hills wasn't very long, the stables were only a little ways from town. Remy drove a bit slower than usual, keeping in mind that Kennedy probably couldn't go fast with a trailer and horses in tow. She found herself constantly checking the mirror to make sure he was still behind her, remembering his comment about getting lost. Soon enough, Remy was flipping her turn signal and pulling into the stable's small parking area. She cut the engine and climbed out to wait for Kennedy to park.
Today must not be a busy day for the stable since there wasn't much activity. Sure, she saw horses out in the pastures, grazing along side buddies, and she heard even the occasional neigh or nicker, coming from both the pastures and the barn. But Remy didn't see many people. As far as she could tell, no body was using the arenas, or the outdoor ones at least. She didn't see any of the Halls either, and peering at the house Remy couldn't tell if they were home or not. Not that it mattered. It wasn't as though she was alone anyway. Remy put her hands into the pockets of her beige coat as she watched the truck and trailer pull in. Shaking her bangs out of her eyes, Remy couldn't help but notice the impaitent noises coming from the horses inside the trailer. She wondered how long they had been in there, she had no idea how far away Kennedy had come from. Not that it was any of her business, where he came from, Remy reminded herself.
Remy walked around to the front of Kennedy's truck, smiling at the boy as she waited for him to step out. "So, what do you think of the stables so far?" she asked, inclining her head toward the white fences surrounding the pastures, the large barn and the huge span of trees and hills. It certainly was a pretty place, especially in the fall with all the reds and oranges and yellows of the trees; the namesake of the stables. Remember that Kennedy had two horses, plus the equipment for them, Remy knew it would be rude not to offer her help. "Do you want me to take one of the horses into the barn? Or I could help carrying in your tack and stuff?" She waited patiently for Kennedy's answer as she tucked her bangs behind her ear once again.
ooc: crappy post, sorry.
