Jake takes a lot of pride in his appearance. He works out every day for at least an hour. He enjoys looking buff as it were. With his toned biceps and abs, he certainly looks like someone the ladies would want. Add his height of 6'3" and you get someone you wouldn't want to mess with. On his left upper arm, he has a black tattoo of an eagle with spread wings. As for scars, he has three on his hands and lower arms from a fight with the oven when he was a young teenager. He weighs 160lb. His hair is dark brown and a bit long, but he combs it back so that it doesn't hang down over his face. He has light brown or hazel eyes and his clothing style is simple, mainly jeans and t-shirts.
personality:
Jake is by no means a good boy. He's not mean, but he got involved with the wrong people in the past and it shows now. He loves to drink heavily and when he does get drunk, he is quick to anger. He'll lash out with a blow before thinking really. He's tried to stop drinking a few times, but hated it and started again within a few days. He also does drugs, any type really. Because of this, he's had run-ins with the police and tends not to be too friendly towards them. He is very loud and comes across as quite brash to some people. Jake doesn't always think through what he is saying before he says and so has hurt people's feelings sometimes. Being with the girls is what he loves, as he knows how to flirt with them and make them feel good. He has cheated a few times before and never really had much trouble for it, so there's nothing to say that he won't do it again.
Jake's favourite thing to do, aside from drink, take drugs and flirt with the girls is compete. He loves to ride his stallion Ulysses in competitions, be they jumping or cross-country. He finds dressage and flat showing too boring so he stays away from them. He can get very competitive and hates losing.

Jake hasn't had a very good start in life. He was educated at a public school in one of the roughest parts of Seattle. This was a school where most of the kids over age 14 did drugs and drank heavily. As he moved up the school, Jake joined their ranks. His situation wasn't helped by his home situation - his parents got divorced when he was 11 and he never saw his mum again after that. At the age of 21, he got bored with the place where he lived and decided to move. He chose to move to Saddle Brook because extraordinarily, he had gotten into horse riding and really enjoyed it. His mum bought him a horse and a flashy sports car as a going away gift. Now here he is in Saddle Brook.
role-play sample:
I pulled up in the gravel car park that marked the beginning of the Devil’s Cavern trail. Putting on the handbrake and switching off the engine, I climbed out of my horsebox. I could hear my horse Ulysses kicking out at the walls of the trailer and rolled my eyes. He hated being in a small space. I undid the catches on the side door and gently lowered the ramp, making sure not to drop it on my toes. As I did this, Ulysses whinnied from inside the trailer. He knew that he was about to get out. I climbed into the trailer and untied him, letting him gently make his own way down the ramp. I tied him to one of the rings on the outside of the trailer and pulled a grooming brush out of the box in the tack compartment. I ran a brush over his beautiful bay and white coat, before disappearing into the tack room to pull out his tack. I couldn’t wait to explore the trails around here. Maybe I’d meet some new people too. Hopefully those people would be girls. I always loved spending time around the ladies, yes I did. I didn’t know anybody in this place yet. Pulling the saddle and bridle off of their racks, I went back outside. Placing the saddle on the ground several feet away from the horse, I started to put the bridle on.
