Avalla, New York was always just like any other town and that was the problem. It needed something, anything that would make it stand out. Thats when Keith Avalla had his idea. An idea that would change Avalla for the good
AVALLA ACADEMY
Saddened by the lack of an education facility in the town, forcing students to have to travel to school, Keith Avalla's plan was to open his own school. An academy of excellence. But how would his academy be different for all others? It would be an Academy of life, giving those who nobody else gave a chance a helping hand. But more importantly, Avalla would be free to all that wanted to learn
With more than enough money behind him, Keith set about building his academy. It was his gift to that town that had been his home for over eighty years. In 1999, Avalla Academy opened its doors for the first time. Providing free education to anyone aged twelve or over in a range of subjects was Keith's aim.
Ten years on and the Academy still provides education to anyone that enrolls. Although sadly, Mr. Keith Avalla is no longer with us, but his memory lives on in his Academy
