those first impressions:
When you set your eyes on me your probably thinking, wow she’s short. But what can I say- it’s not my fault I’m barely five foot three. Some people look at my hair and wish they had it, it blonde and wavy and just has this way of looking amazing, though I would prefer to cut it all off, it is way to much work. I have green eyes that aren’t that nice emerald green but almost that ugly hazel coloured green. My build is very skinny, muscle is probably the only thing that gives me curves. Well actually when it comes to my hips, it’s mainly my hip bone. But don’t worry I’m not anorexic or anything, that’d be too much work and thought in the was of appearance. You’ll notice most of my wardrobe is breeches and polo’s- with the odd name brand sweater or something thrown in. I prefer to at least blend in, standing out has never been my thing. Then again I wore my hair in a ponytail for the first fifteen years of my life. Then I decided it did look much better down, and despite the extra little bit of work I decided to keep wearing it that way. Despite my lack of enthusiasm, I do like looking nice.
you may or may not want to get to know me:
Chelsie is a very smart girl, she never needs something explained twice- if she’s actually paying attention. Chels is also a very sarcastic individual, though sometimes she uses it to avoid a serious conversation. Chelsie isn’t big on getting dolled up, but she does try to look half decent. Chels loves to ride, especially hunter jumper. Chels is very organized, when it comes to horse stuff, but really she could care less if people saw there was dirty dishes in her kitchen sink. Chels is just a laid back farm girl who really cares more about the horses opinion then any humans. Chelsie is just one of those individuals you have to get to know, because describing her is like describing falling in love- nearly impossible.
we all have a past, so lets hear it:
Chelsie’s parents had money, no doubt about it. But Chelsie wasn’t one for wanting the new thing that cost the most money, she just wanted what she needed. Weird, considering her mother Alice was a top notch lawyer and her father, Rick, was a doctor. She could have had anything but every year all she ever asked Santa for was a pony. So at four her parents gave in and bought her a pony. Much against her mothers will- as to her, ponies were for country folk, for people who smelled of pig manure. She even made Chelsie change at the barn before getting in the car. By fourteen ignoring her parents was easy and she was in love with horses. Her mother sent her off to a top notch boarding school so she didn’t have to deal with the fact her daughter didn’t want to be a lawyer. That was her parents way of dealing with things, avoding them. Anyways she upgraded ponies as she started showing more and more competitive and when she finally pronounced she was going to be a horse trainer her mom nearly fainted and her dad faked happiness. But Chels ignored her parents yet again and came here, to fulfill her dreams. So now its her against the world- with her two horses. Will you welcome her with open arms or turn your back and pray she’ll go away? Whatever you think you won’t be happy to know, she could really care less what you ‘haters’ think.
role-play sample:
Alex stood there for a moment, absorbing the feeling, trying to memorize the exact placement of her muscles, the exact tenseness and everything else down to the smallest details as to how curled her fingers were. Alex took a breath, so focused she didn’t realize that Chad had taken an extra moment to run his eyes over her. Alex walked around on a loose rein as Chad set up a course, watching him out of the corner of his eye. He was tall, blondish brownish hair, deep brown eyes and extremely muscular. She had to admit he was far from unattractive- but he was her coach. And mingling with a coach fell under the same rule as dating a teacher- a huge no-no. Some girls flirted in attempt to be rule breakers but nobody ever dared. Though she had a feeling at the tryouts for the grade nines and so far unsuccessful at making the team students - who were offered the two groom positions and one sub, as the rest of the team was picked the year before from existing team members- that there’d be more then one mind wandering from the thousand pound animal between their legs. The fun thing was, as captain, Alex got to watch it all- and tell Chad all about it later in his office.
“Ready?” asked Alex impatiently as Chad fiddled with the exact placement of the pole on what she hoped was the last jump- she was getting bored.
“All yours” said Chad with a smile. He watched her put Low into a smooth canter. He watched her ponytail bob with the movement as it peeked out under her helmet, and how she held that perfect position effortlessly. She was extremely athletic look with toned muscles and a small chest that suited her small figure. He had a hard time believing she was a student- well actually he wished she wasn’t a student. Then again once all the football players set eyes on her they’d flock and a boring coach like him would be overlooked by a long shot.
Alex cantered around clearing the jumps effortlessly, though having to lift her reins and adjust her position slightly, to keep the horse from rushing. Low was starting to really drift to the left so she was forced to lean slightly into the right stirrup. She cleared it easily and slowed him to a walk. “Want to ride him?” she asked easily, as she swung off and handed Chad the reins not even thinking about him saying no. Everybody always wanted to ride the horses she did- she had a selection of over 50 to ride and show- thanks to her uncle. Though she shared 34 of them with an abundance of lesson kids and another 10 with teachers and instructors that chose to lease instead of bring their own horse- though six were strictly hers.
