Kenedy James Jackson
[/center]
basic:
full name: Kennedy James Jackson
nickname(s): People call him Jackson sometimes but never Ken or Kenny
age: 17
gender: Male
role: Student
riding level: advanced
sexuality: straight
play-by: chace crawford
apperance:
Kenedy has more of a jock look about him than he'd care to admit. He's extremely good looking, with bright blue eyes set in a fairly oval face. His nose is a little big for good looks, but no one ever seems to notice, and a thin layer of stubble sits on his chin most of the time. Unless he takes a notion to shave. He's quite tall, standing just a touch over 6 feet. As far as dress, he's a pretty classy guy. Jeans are the usual, but his shirts and shoes nad yadda yadda are usually quite nice. He dresses down to go to the barn, of course. His hands are quite large, and a little rough from his work around horses, but again no one ever seems to notice. Who notices hands, anyway?
personality:
Kennedy leans toward the shy side, although he isn't actually shy. More just the quiet, intelectual type. Generally he's a complete sweetie, and he likes to take care of his friends and his girls. You couldn't ask for a better friend. He's not opposed to bringing arguments to fists if someone takes it too far about anything he loves or even like. He's definitely not one most people like to fight with, though. He throws a mean punch and seems immune to pain...Usually just the adreniline, but still. He doesn't like to see anyone taken down, even his enemies. This can make him a particularly difficult rival, because he'll never do any of the usual things when he's having a fight. No trash talking, no rumors, no nothing. He hates the whole drama thing and basically avoids it at all costs. Some take this seeming indifference as weakness, but that's not it at all. He can actually be an especially powerful person when he wants to be, which isn't often. Generally if he's mad at someone he tends to get really quiet. He won't speak to them and will sometimes even blatantly avoid them. He'd rather not fight, but if worse comes to worse, he's certainly not afraid of it.
history:
Kennedy James Jackson was born to Alicia and Jonothan Jackson on the night of March 13th, 1991, after a long and difficult labor. Alicia Jackson was a fairly well known horse trainer, and she owned the local riding s table. It was a pretty big establishment, with lots of instructors and yadda yadda. She herself was a top notch Dressage rider and trainer, and her students were some of the best. Jonothan was down at the barn quite frequently, too, helping out, mucking out stalls and turning horses in and out.
Kennedy took to riding at a young age, in a way that his brother Tyler hadn't. His mother was excstatic. At least she would have one son to carry on doing what she loved. Or so she thought. Tyler was much more into his music, and while Kennedy started riding English, he took to reining before he even thought about competing. Of course, there was a young cowboy at the barn who was the reining instructor, and he himself was top notch, having competed in several reining and snafflebit futurities, throughout the entire mid-west, and he had made quite a name for himself. He took the young owner's son under his wing, and taught him to rein. Kennedy took to it much more naturally than he had to English riding, and he blossomed.
Of course, things were not as happy as everyone from the outside thought they were. Far from it. For you see, what few people knew was that Jonothan Jackson was a raging alcoholic. He beat on his wife and his children, and he was hardly ever sober, even at the barn, though few of the students noticed it. Most of the instructors did, but no one mentioned it. Young Alicia was a proud thing, and she wouldn't stand for being coddled, even by the people closest to her.
Time went on and the boys and their mother lea rned to deal with it. They covered bruises and went about their daily lives. It was just the way things were and there was no getting out of it. Kennedy began to compete when he turned 15, at the top of the junior level in the AQHA and APHA shows. He had learned from the best, and as a result of his blessings, he was becoming the best.
Of course, things could not go on as they were forever. Alicia divorced Jonothan, and somehow managed to keep the barn running. Barely. Tyler dropped out of school when he turned 16, and ran off, and he's hardly ever heard from. Kennedy, however, stuck close to his mom, helping her out where he could. Jonothan, of course, disappeared. Things slowly grew worse for Alicia, now in her late 30s, and she ended up selling of the barn. Kennedy, of course, was heartbroken, however he was allowed to keep his principal mount, and now he's here. Because he couldn't possibly give up riding. And frankly, he needed to get away from his mother.
riding experience: He grew up around horses and riding, and he learned reining from one of the best reining trainers.
